La Dolce Vita Pre Collection

"La Dolce Vita" is a Pre collection that conjures memories of a childhood. The project explores self expression of a displaced young adult influenced by the carly 90s Post-Communism in Romania, a decade marked by the desire for innovation but restricted because of the economic situation.
The application of traditional Romanian motif, deadstock fabric and technology creates surface decoration that engenders multifaceted layers representing the inner, imperfect and restrained identity.
